Washington County Purchasing Department Announces Launch of New Procurement Portal

HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 19, 2024) – The Washington County Purchasing Department is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new procurement portal to streamline the process of accepting and evaluating solicitations. Powered by Euna Solutions, the procurement portal will provide vendors with a user-friendly platform to submit bids and proposals for county projects and contracts.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing transparency and efficiency in the procurement process, Washington County is transitioning to the new procurement portal to centralize solicitation management and improve accessibility for vendors. The portal will serve as a comprehensive resource for vendors to access procurement opportunities, submit bids electronically, and track the status of their submissions.

Vendors interested in participating in Washington County’s procurement process are encouraged to register on the new portal at https://washco-md.ionwave.net. Registration is simple and free, and provides vendors with access to a wide range of procurement opportunities within the county.

“We are excited to introduce our new procurement portal, which will modernize and streamline our procurement processes,” said Rick Curry, Purchasing Department Director. “This new portal will not only improve efficiency for our department but also enhance the experience for our valued vendors.”

For assistance with registration or any questions regarding the new procurement portal, vendors can contact Euna Solutions support at 866.277.2645 x4 or via email at [email protected].

Washington County remains committed to promoting fair and open competition in the procurement process and looks forward to leveraging the new portal to facilitate collaboration with vendors and ensure the best possible outcomes for county projects.
