WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT CLOSED

FOR MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY

Several services operating on a modified schedule

HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 14, 2025) – In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025. County services will operate as listed below:

HAGERSTOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT

The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices and the maintenance department will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, and re-open on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Allegiant air services will continue as scheduled:

  • January 20, 2025: 8:26 a.m. arrival and 9:16 a.m. departure for flights to Orlando/Sanford International Airport (SFB)

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025. All services will resume on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

TRANSIT

Washington County Transit Services will remain in service on Monday, January 20, 2025.

BLACK ROCK GOLF COURSE

Black Rock Golf Course will operate as normal on Monday, January 20, 2025.

PUBLIC SAFETY

All essential public safety services will remain in effect.

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.
