Washington County Farmers’ Markets Seek Additional Vendors

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 20, 2020) – The Washington County Department of Business Development announces that several farmers’ markets across the County are seeking producers and farmers to attend and participate in the 2020 season.
Now, more than ever, residents are seeking opportunities to support small businesses by eating fresh and shopping local. If you or someone you know is interested in being a vendor at a Washington County Famers Market, please contact Agricultural Business Specialist Leslie Hart, at [email protected] or call 301-573-7039.
Vendor opportunities include:
  • Tuesday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Boonsboro area
  • Wednesday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Williamsport Area
  • Wednesday 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Hagerstown area
  • Friday once per month on Friday in Hagerstown
  • Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Hagerstown area
  • Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Hancock Area

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
