TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closure on Mousetown Road

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 23, 202) – The Washington County Division of Engineering announces Mousetown Road will be closed to through traffic at the intersection of Mariah Furnace Road to the driveway entrance of 20912 Mousetown Road effective Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in order to begin work on the replacement of the metal arch pipe.
 
The project includes the replacement of an existing metal arch pipe with a pre-cast concrete box culvert, as well as minor roadway work at the culvert location. Completion of the project is scheduled for October 2022.
 
The posted detour route during the construction project will utilize Old National Pike (ALT 40) as well as Gilardi Road. Please view the map for additional details.
