TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closure on Bottom Road Extended

HAGERSTOWN, MD (August 18, 2023) – The Washington County Division of Engineering announces the Bottom Road closure to through traffic from MD 68 at the tannery to the Martin Marietta quarry has been extended through Tuesday, August 22, for the completion of traffic barrier work in the area. The closure will be effective during the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, weather permitting.

Please be advised that the road will be open to local resident traffic, emergency services, and postal service deliveries only during this time. The road will be open over the weekend.
