TRAFFIC ALERT: Halfway Boulevard Westbound Roadwork Notice Update

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 3, 2024) – The Washington County Division of Engineering announces that roadway resurfacing on Halfway Boulevard Westbound lane will continue to progress this week, weather permitting, with the milling process to be completed by Saturday, October 5, 2024. Once the milling process is complete, the overlay portion of the work will begin Sunday evening, October 6, through Friday morning, October 11. The hot mix asphalt overlay will be performed during the nighttime hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am.

A truck detour will be in place for all trucks using the eastbound lane to access the I-81 North ramp as shown in the attached map.

Please be advised lane closures will be in effect for the length of the project with delays expected.
