Congressman David Trone Hosts Washington County Economic Development Roundtable

HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 5, 2019) – The Washington County Department of Business Development participated in a Washington County Economic Development Roundtable hosted by Congressman David Trone on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Hagerstown Regional Airport. Key stakeholders involving economic growth and development in Washington County were in attendance. Representatives included Washington County Department of Business DevelopmentBoard of County CommissionersChamber of CommerceGreater Hagerstown CommitteeCHIEF, City of Hagerstown Community and Economic DevelopmentHagerstown Regional Airport, and Hagerstown Community College.

Leaders met to discuss ideas on how to increase job creation and development, the obstacles or barriers facing job development, and how to work together at a local, state, and federal level through bi-partisan, public-private partnerships.

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.
