TAKE THE SURVEY! Input Needed from Washington County Manufacturers

REGIONAL MANUFACTURING INSTITUTE OF MARYLAND SURVEY

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 30, 2021) – The Washington County Department of Business Development (DBD) encourages manufacturers in Washington County to take the survey below from the Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland.

To Our Valued Maryland Manufacturers:

Manufacturing is a critical industry in the State of Maryland. At the Maryland Department of Commerce, we are committed to supporting, sustaining, and growing this industry in our state. We also know that COVID has had a significant impact on our business community broadly, and on certain industry sectors specifically.

We need your input and are asking for 5-7 minutes of your time to take this survey by August 13th. Your responses will provide important data and feedback in order for us to understand the current opportunities and challenges our manufacturing community is facing and how we, along with our partners, can best align resources to meet current and future needs.

This survey is designed to inform Maryland Commerce and the MMAB about Maryland’s manufacturing sector and the issues you face, and to guide their recommendations to better support the success of manufacturers in Maryland. We will be sharing the aggregated results with our partners and the manufacturing community, but please know that individual responses will be kept strictly confidential.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your insight and perspective through this survey.

Sincerely,

Kelly M. Schulz
Secretary
Maryland Department of Commerce

Scott Simmons
Chair
Maryland Manufacturing Advisory Board
