New Locations Added to Washington County Ice Cream Trail!

 
HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 2, 2021) – The Washington County Public Relations and Marketing Department has added locations to the newly released Washington County, MD Ice Cream Trail. Click on the image above to download and print the latest map.
 
We challenge everyone living in Washington County and the surrounding areas to use this trail to visit locally-owned ice cream shops in Washington County. Receive a stamp at each location on the Ice Cream Trail, and once you have visited all locations, send us a picture of your completed map and tag or email us:
 
 
Each person that submits a completed map will be entered into a raffle. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Washington County ice cream shop of their choice. The last day to enter the raffle will be the last day of summer, September 22, 2021.

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
