Hagerstown Regional Airport Celebrates 10 Years with Allegiant Air

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 12, 2022) – Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) is pleased to be celebrating 10 years of partnership with Allegiant Air. In May 2012, Allegiant and HGR signed an agreement to offer flights out of HGR. On May 25, 2012, the first official Allegiant flight arrived at HGR from Orlando/Sanford International Airport (SFB) carrying 115 passengers.
 
Flights to and from Hagerstown to Orlando/Sanford have run consistently on Mondays and Fridays, beginning year-round service in 2013.
 
On February 27, 2015, Hagerstown had its first Allegiant flight to and from St. Pete/Clearwater International Airport. Flights have run consistently for the past 7 years on Sundays and Thursdays as a seasonal destination.
 
On June 6, 2019, Hagerstown had its first Allegiant flight from Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR). Flights have run consistently for the past 3 years on Mondays and Fridays as a seasonal destination.
 
Hagerstown Regional Airport has provided service to a combined total of 386,869 passengers to date. Our partnership remains strong with Allegiant with hopes of future destinations to come. Looking forward to the next 10 years.
