Hagerstown Regional Airport Announces 18 Additional Flights for Summer 2025

HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 15, 2024) – Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) is thrilled to announce exciting updates to its summer 2025 flight schedule, marking a 13.5% growth compared to the previous year. Between May 13, 2025, and September 2, 2025, HGR will offer 18 additional flights, enhancing options for travelers heading to Myrtle Beach, St. Pete-Clearwater, and Orlando-Sanford.

Expanded Flight Schedule Highlights

Myrtle Beach (MYR):

  • Flights resume Friday, May 23, 2025.
  • Starting June 8, 2025, through September 1, 2025, service increases to four flights per week.

St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE):

  • Seven additional flights are added in August 2025, extending the summer flight season.
  • Service increases to three flights per week from May 25, 2025, to August 14, 2025.
  • Two flights per week are scheduled from August 17, 2025, to August 31, 2025.

Orlando-Sanford (SFB):

  • Year-round service continues.
  • Three flights per week are scheduled from May 19, 2025, to August 8, 2025.
  • Two flights per week continue from August 11, 2025, to September 1, 2025.

More Capacity, More Convenience

During peak summer weeks, HGR will offer as many as ten weekly flights, accommodating increased demand and providing greater flexibility for travelers. Passengers will also enjoy upgraded service on Allegiant’s brand-new Boeing 737 Max 8-200 aircraft, which features the “Allegiant Extra” seating option.

“Allegiant Extra” offers passengers premium amenities, including:

  • An additional 6” of legroom.
  • Reserved overhead bin space.
  • Priority boarding.
  • First access to in-flight service.

These upgrades begin in November 2024, further enhancing the travel experience at HGR.

Continued Growth and Success

HGR’s collaboration with Allegiant Air continues to deliver impressive results. From September 2024 to August 2025, the total number of flights will increase to 309—up from 274 flights during the same period the previous year, representing a 12.77% growth.
