Hagerstown Regional Airport Addresses Security Situation with Law Enforcement Investigation

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 1, 2023) – Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) worked closely with law enforcement agencies in response to a security incident earlier today. Our priority was the safety and security of all individuals at the airport.

Today, Hagerstown Regional Airport received a report of a potential security concern and promptly alerted local law enforcement. Together, we actively investigated the situation to ensure the safety of all airport personnel and visitors.

We want to assure the public that there is no imminent threat to safety. The investigation is now concluded, and we can confirm that there is no ongoing threat. We appreciate the swift response and support from local law enforcement in resolving this situation.
