Groundhog Day 2024 Event – Call for Vendors

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 25, 2023) – The Washington County Department of Economic and Business Development is seeking local farms, farmers and value-added producers and vendors to participate in the annual upcoming Groundhog Day Celebration event on Friday, February 2, 2024.

The Groundhog Day Celebration is a Department of Business and Economic annual event that showcases local farms, producers, products, and value-added producers and showcases their products all in one great location, the Washington County Agricultural Education Center located at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland. This indoor event at the multi-Purpose building features tasting samples from every vendor and the opportunity for ticket holders to further purchase products. Consumers sometimes forget that Washington County has a wealth of local producing farms that offer products year-round, just not in the summer months. Groundhog Day Feb 2, 2024 will showcase our plentiful local agricultural products.  Approximately 400 tickets are sold to this event.

If you are interested in becoming a vendor featuring local agricultural products and would like to participate in the upcoming Groundhog Day event on February 2, 2024, please contact Leslie Hart at 301-573-7039 or by email at [email protected].
