Division of Permits and Inspections to Oversee Process for Town of Keedysville

HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 22, 2021) – On October 25, 2021, a resolution/ordinance to authorize and enter into a memorandum of understanding for building code enforcement, permitting, and inspection services was adopted between the Town of Keedysville and the Washington County Board of County Commissioners. Effective Monday, December 6, 2021, the Washington County Division of Permits and Inspections will begin handling the permitting and inspection process for the Town of Keedysville for all building permits. Applicants must obtain approval from the Town before submitting a permit application to the County.
