2021 St. Patrick’s Day RUN FEST is Canceled

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 18, 2020) – The Washington County Parks and Recreation Department announces the St. Patrick’s Day RUN FEST scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2021, is canceled. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the number of participants at previous RUN FEST events, staff and officials have decided it is safest to cancel this large gathering. The Washington County Parks and Recreation Department, Community Free Clinic, and the City of Hagerstown look forward to hosting RUN FEST in 2022 in downtown Hagerstown.
 
Please continue to be vigilant as Washington County remains committed to the fight against COVID-19. Wear a mask, wash your hands, and watch your distance. The Parks and Recreation Department looks forward to hosting events when it is safe to do so.

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
