Red Heifer Winery is a 56-acre farm winery nestled in the hills of Smithsburg, MD. At an elevation of 1,500 feet its micro-climate helps grow grapes for award-winning sweet and dry wines. The property includes a wine production building capable of processing more than 40 tons of fruit per season. Fruit is processed into wine, aged, and bottled on-site. Additionally, the property includes a wine tasting room and an expansive patio for guests to enjoy wine by tasting, flight, glass, or bottle.
