Lifting of Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for Mt. Aetna Water System

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 6, 2023) – The Washington County Division of Environmental Management announces the precautionary boil water advisory is hereby rescinded for the residents of the Mount Aetna Water System following the successful repairs made to the water line and the satisfactory completion of the bacteriological survey showing that the water is safe for use and consumption. The affected addresses are 21729 – 21915 Mt. Aetna Road, 9729 – 10305 Crystal Falls Road, Highpoint Drive, Academy Drive, Academy Lane, Academy Terrace, White Oak Road, and Black Rock Lane.
