Meetings begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

All regular monthly Planning Commission meetings will be held in the Washington County Administration Complex located at 100 West Washington Street, Room 2000, Hagerstown, Maryland.   Attendees should use the entrance on 100 W. Washington Street or the entrance from the parking lot to the rear of the building.  Attendees should expect to pass through Security before using the elevator of the second floor.  Meetings begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.  The Planning Commission reserves the right to cancel and/or change the meeting dates and time as needed.

The Planning Commission’s Policy #7 states, “Approvals from agencies for all matters to be considered by the Commission must be received by the Plan Review Department no later than 9:00 a.m. two Mondays prior to the Commission meeting.  All matters not received by the times indicated will be deferred until the Commission’s regular meeting the following month.”  Determination of plan readiness for review by the Planning Commission is made by the Department of Plan Review & Permitting.

Workshop meetings will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Liberal Leave is in effective for Washington County Government

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
