PUBLIC NOTICE: Sandy Hook Water System Experiencing Low Water Supply

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 21, 2021) – Due to equipment failure that resulted in low water supply, the Washington County Department of Water Quality will be performing repairs on the Sandy Hook water system. No interruptions to water service for the residents of Sandy Hook are expected at this time. The water is safe for consumption.
 
The County requests residents of Sandy Hook to refrain from using water for non-essential use such as washing vehicles, watering grass, filling a swimming pool, etc.
