Citizens Encouraged to Participate in Virtual Public Budget Hearing

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 12, 2021) – The Washington County Office of Budget and Finance reminds citizens that a public hearing on the proposed real property tax rate increase will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. The hearing will be conducted virtually, with a video stream available on Facebook – Washington County Government – Maryland; on YouTube – WashCo Commissioners; and on Zoom by calling 1-301-715-8592 meeting ID 99977282402 passcode 457920.
 
Public testimony is encouraged. Public comment may be submitted up to six days following the public hearing which is May 24, 2021, by 4:00 p.m.
