Charitable Gaming Program

Currently accepting applications for Gaming Commission Funds. Deadline for submission is Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, no later than 3:00pm.

Grant Reports are only required for organizations that were funded in 2024. The grant report document is available by contacting Carsten Ahrens, Senior Grant Manager. The grant report must be electronically submitted prior to applying for FY25 funding. 

The Charitable Gaming Program is responsible for:

  • Providing accountability of the tip jar sales within the County
  • Issuing wholesale, operator, and temporary licenses for selling tip jars within the County
  • Administering State Statute and Washington County Rules and Regulations
  • Assessing fines, penalties, and denials
  • Suspending and revoking licenses under certain circumstances
  • Maintaining reports from licensees on all tip jar sales and operations
  • Collecting monies and administering The Washington County Gaming Fund
  • Providing professional advice and support to the Washington County Gaming Commission
  • Issuing Bingo licenses
