Washington County Parks and Recreation Survey

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 15, 2019) – Did you know that Washington County is home to 16 county-owned parks and facilities? Washington County Division of Public Works is seeking your input regarding parks and recreation across the county. We want to know what new recreation programs, equipment or changes you want to see. Click on the photo above to complete the survey. Signs will also be located in county parks with a scannable QR code for park users to complete using a smartphone.

The County is encouraging all citizens to share this information with friends and family who use parks, facilities and recreation programs. Results from this survey will be used to evaluate future programs and facilities in Washington County.

For citizens needing a hard-copy of the survey, they will be available for pick-up and completion at the following locations:

  • Washington County Division of Public Works (Administration Building)
  • Agricultural Education Center
  • ARCC at Hagerstown Community College
  • Washington County Park Headquarters (Doub’s Woods Park)
  • Senior Center

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
