HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 21, 2019) – The Washington County Solid Waste Department announces Kaetzel Transfer Station will be closing on June 3, 2019 for site repairs. The station will be closed for approximately 60 days.

The transfer station on Dargan School Road will be open with extra dumpsters for trash and recycling during the Kaetzel closure. Other station options include the Greensburg Transfer Station and 40 West Landfill.
