Washington County Transit Services to Suspend Operations at 7:15 p.m. Due to Inclement Weather

HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 6, 2025) – Washington County Transit announces that all Transit services will be suspended at 7:15 p.m. today due to inclement weather. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.

The last trips departing from the Transfer Center will be as follows:

  • 6:15 p.m. Funkstown
  • 6:15 p.m. Valley Mall Night Run
  • 6:15 p.m. Premium Outlets
  • 6:45 p.m. Long Meadow Night Run
  • 7:15 p.m. West End

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage residents to plan accordingly. Please monitor Washington County Government’s website and social media channels for updates.

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
