HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 1, 2020) – The Washington County Department of Business Development invites Washington County business owners and citizens to attend tomorrow’s webinars. Two different webinars will be hosted:
  1. Recreation Activities from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m.
  2. Restaurants from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Both webinars will occur on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. You must register in order to attend the webinar. Please register by clicking on the Tickets button below with the corresponding webinar.

Together We Rise Webinar: Recreation Activities
This session will include a presentation followed by a question and answer session on the reopening of recreation activities that reopened on Friday, May 29th in Washington County, MD. These activities include youth sports, youth camps, pools, etc.

This session will include a presentation followed by a question and answer session on the new outdoor dining allowance for restaurants.
This will also include a discussion about the City of Hagerstown’s plan to close streets and open up public areas near restaurants for additional outdoor seating.

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
