Washington County Planning Commission Unveils New Comprehensive Plan, Invites Community Participation

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 25, 2023) – The Washington County Planning Commission is pleased to announce the release of the new Comprehensive Plan for the County. This pivotal document aims to develop a community vision for future land use and effective growth management, shaping the future of Washington County.

Over the next several months, the Washington County Planning Commission, in collaboration with the Department of Planning & Zoning, will actively seek public input on the best strategies to plan and manage future growth, ensuring the creation of a vibrant community that caters to the needs of all its citizens.
