Charitable Gaming Fund

Applications for the Charitable Gaming Fund are made available on or about April 1st of each year and are due for submittal during the 1st or 2nd week of May.

Applications cannot be accepted outside of this time period. If your organization desires to be placed on the mailing list to receive funding availability notifications please contact the office of Community Grant Management.

The Office of Community Grant Management is responsible for:

  • Providing accountability of the tip jar sales within the County
  • Issuing wholesale, operator, and temporary licenses for selling tip jars within the County
  • Administering State Statute and Washington County Rules and Regulations
  • Assessing fines, penalties, and denials
  • Suspending and revoking licenses under certain circumstances
  • Maintaining reports from licensees on all tip jar sales and operations
  • Collecting monies and administering The Washington County Gaming Fund
  • Providing professional advice and support to the Washington County Gaming Commission 
  • Issuing Coin Operated Amusement licenses
  • Issuing Bingo licenses
